iGOT Karmayogi for Uttarakhand Health Staff: Registration and PMHS Use Guide

Key Points

  • The Uttarakhand Health Department lists iGOT Karmayogi as an official capacity-building programme for government employees.
  • Registration may use an official email or registered mobile number with OTP; Parichay/e-Office SSO may also be available.
  • After login, staff can search courses, enrol, continue learning, complete assessments and check eligible certificates from their learning area.

Clearly labelled explainer: This is not a transfer, recruitment, promotion or compulsory-course order. It explains the current official portal and its general use for Uttarakhand PMHS doctors and other health employees. A course becomes mandatory only when the competent department issues a specific direction.

What is iGOT Karmayogi?

iGOT Karmayogi is the Government of India’s integrated online learning platform under the National Programme for Civil Services Capacity Building, also known as Mission Karmayogi. It supports self-paced learning in behavioural, functional and domain competencies for officials of central, state and local government bodies.

Official portal links

Use only the official igotkarmayogi.gov.in domain or the official mobile app. Do not enter an OTP or password on links received from unverified WhatsApp messages.

Before registration: keep these details ready

  • Name exactly as recorded in service/departmental records
  • Official or registered mobile number and accessible email address
  • Government tier: State for Uttarakhand state employees
  • Department/organisation or MDO, designation and place of posting
  • Employee/service ID, if requested by the department or nodal officer

How to register: step by step

  1. Open the official portal and select Register/Sign Up.
  2. Select the appropriate government tier—normally State for Uttarakhand Health Department staff.
  3. Search for and select the correct Ministry/Department/Organisation (MDO). Do not choose a similarly named organisation merely to complete registration.
  4. Select the designation/role that matches the current service record.
  5. Enter the official email address or registered mobile number accepted by the portal.
  6. Enter the OTP received on the selected channel.
  7. Complete the profile fields and set login credentials when the portal prompts you.
  8. Review department, designation, mobile/email and spelling of the name before saving.

How to log in

  1. Open portal.igotkarmayogi.gov.in.
  2. Select Sign In/Login.
  3. Use the mobile/email and password associated with the account, or choose the displayed OTP option.
  4. If your department uses it, select Parichay/e-Office SSO and complete the authorised government sign-in flow.
  5. After successful authentication, verify that your name, organisation and role shown in the profile are correct.
Security: Never share password or OTP with a nodal officer, colleague or support caller. A nodal officer may need employee master details for mapping but should not require your login password.

What you may see inside the portal

Names and placement can change with portal updates, device size and departmental configuration, but the learning workflow generally includes:

  • Home/Dashboard: recommended learning, announcements and recent activity.
  • Learn Hub: search and discovery of available courses, programmes and learning resources.
  • My Learning/Learning History: enrolled, in-progress and completed courses.
  • Discussion Hub: course-related or professional peer discussions where enabled.
  • Network Hub: professional connections and communities.
  • Events Hub: webinars, workshops and scheduled events.
  • Career/Competency area: role and competency information where mapped by the organisation.
  • Profile/Account: personal, organisational and role information; some fields may be controlled by the MDO administrator.

How to find and enrol in a course

  1. Open Learn Hub or the portal search.
  2. Search using the exact course title supplied in the departmental order; otherwise use a relevant keyword.
  3. Check the course provider, language, duration, description, target group and any prerequisite.
  4. Select Enrol/Join only after confirming it is the intended course.
  5. Open the course from My Learning and complete modules in the displayed sequence.
  6. Use the same account on subsequent visits so progress remains attached to the employee profile.

Assessment, progress and certificate

  • Watch/read all mandatory learning objects and complete quizzes or final assessment where included.
  • Check the progress indicator; merely opening a module may not mark it complete.
  • After successful completion, open the completed course or learning-history area and look for Certificate/Download Certificate.
  • A certificate is available only when the course provides one and its completion conditions are satisfied.
  • Download the PDF and retain the original digital file. Submit it to the department only through the instructed official channel.

Common login and registration problems

Problem What to check
OTP not received Confirm mobile/email, network and spam folder; wait briefly before one resend. Avoid repeated rapid requests.
Account already exists Use Sign In or Forgot Password instead of creating a second profile.
Wrong department/designation Do not create another account. Contact the departmental MDO administrator/nodal officer for correction or mapping.
Organisation not listed Contact the authorised nodal officer; the organisation may require assisted/bulk onboarding.
Password forgotten Use the portal’s Forgot Password option and the registered email/mobile.
Course does not appear Verify the exact title/link, eligibility, language and whether the department has assigned/enabled it.
Progress or certificate missing Reopen the course, check every module/assessment and allow the portal to sync; then use official support/nodal escalation.

Assisted onboarding through the department

The official Uttarakhand page states that employees whose organisation is not bulk-synchronised, or who face verification issues, can contact the designated Assistant Nodal Officer, Nodal Officer or MDO Administrator. They may request authorised employee master details, approve/upload them in the back end and enable an activation link. Share data only through an official government channel.

Useful practice for PMHS and health staff

  • Use the same official identity for all assigned courses.
  • Take a screenshot or retain the acknowledgement only when departmental reporting requires it.
  • Keep a record of course title, provider, completion date and certificate number.
  • Do not assume that a public course is compulsory; follow the exact departmental order.
  • For service-book or HR recognition, obtain instructions from the competent establishment authority.

What is known

The Uttarakhand Health Department’s official page states that learner onboarding can be completed through the web portal/mobile app using government-tier, MDO, designation and OTP-based verification. It also describes Parichay/e-Office SSO and departmental administrator-assisted onboarding.

Limitations and uncertainties

The portal interface, button names, course catalogue, certificate availability and departmental mapping can change. Some profile fields or courses may be visible only after MDO approval. Course completion does not itself guarantee promotion, transfer preference, financial benefit or service-record entry unless a competent authority has issued an applicable order.
