Quick Note Sheet
Category: NEET PG / Counselling
Scope: practical guidance with safety caveats and official source verification.
Important: this is not a substitute for the complete official order, product label or local clinical protocol.
Step 1 — confirm the official allotment
Open the MCC candidate portal from the official site. Verify your candidate identity, allotted institute, specialty, quota, category and reporting instructions against the final result and your own allotment letter. Save the letter and avoid acting on screenshots forwarded by others.
Step 2 — prepare a document folder
Commonly relevant records include NEET PG admit card and result, allotment letter, MBBS degree or provisional certificate, internship completion certificate, permanent or provisional registration, photo ID and category/PwBD/NRI documents where applicable. The exact mandatory list depends on MCC rules, seat type and institute instructions; check these before travelling.
Step 3 — verify joining conditions
Confirm the institute address, reporting window, original-document verification, fee payment channel, applicable bond or service obligation and accommodation arrangements. DNB/NBEMS seats may have additional training-registration steps. Never transfer money to unofficial accounts.
Step 4 — avoid common errors
Do not confuse provisional result with final allotment. Do not assume that a previous round’s checklist or fee applies unchanged. Record your reporting acknowledgement and promptly raise discrepancies through the designated official channel.
What PHMS or in-service candidates should review
Government doctors seeking in-service benefits or permissions should verify their state service rules, NOC, eligibility and applicable bond provisions with the competent authority. MCC allotment does not automatically waive state-service obligations.
Practical safety checklist
- Verify the patient, candidate or employee identity and applicable requirements.
- Check the current official instructions, product label or institutional protocol.
- Use a documented independent check for high-risk decisions.
- Record completion, acknowledgements and necessary follow-up.
