1. Official verification
Recruitment and selection: verify vacancy advertisements, written/interview selection rules, eligibility, result and document verification from UKMSSB and the concerned state department. Distinguish PMHS regular cadre posts from ESI and contractual appointments.
2. Practical action
Joining: check appointment order, medical fitness, character verification, posting, time limit, acceptance and any extension issued by the competent authority. Do not treat a WhatsApp forward as a government order.
3. Avoid common errors
PG sponsorship: before applying to sponsored DNB or INI-CET categories, obtain written clarification on regular-service eligibility, NOC, study leave, bond, stipend and deputation. State-service eligibility is not automatically equivalent to admission eligibility.
4. Record keeping
Keep dated copies of service book entries, joining report, relieving order, seniority record, leave sanction and correspondence. Confirm every current deadline on the original signed government document.
